finney county, ks | With corn price being in a range of say 3.30 to 3.60 is about the worst possible scenario for producers. If we raise close to aph crop insurance isn't doing any good for the most part in this range. If price is gonna drop let's just take it down below 3 where crop insurance helps and maybe help keep some ethanol flowing better. Also maybe encourage usage in other places and stop encouraging other countries to expand production so quickly. I haven't looked to see what corn and bean prices are in Brazil but I bet with the currency exchange they are not in to bad of a place price wise. | |
