I'm curious how that company got the phone data though. Is this a common thing for research?
This was advertising tracking data, either cookies or apps, that company says was used to make this video.
They also say it’s anonymized data. But if track that data back to a house and that datapoint is one of 2 or 3 data points in that house I’m guessing a company staff can pretty quickly eliminate which person is generating which data just by following one or two days travel routines.
And cell phone companies themselves even better.
