Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I use one of those external USB powered Hard Drives on my shop computer for my music storage. It is just a matter of plugging it into a USB port. The computer detects the drive and it is listed like any other storage device so files (music, photos, etc.) can be moved around quite easily.
The unit can quickly and easily be attached to another Windows computer so if you want to show your pictures to some one else you could just hand carry it to their computer.

Many of these drives come with some software to "make it easy to organize your pictures". I prefer my own organizational plan where I organize things myself by using folders and subfolders with descriptive names.
