I think the tank is a 7/16 pushlock but if you went aftermarket like a Fass, I would run a fuel sump. Saves time not dropping the tank and messing with the old fuel pump. The banjo size on cp3 is a 12mm X1.5 so you would need to go to a -8an connection or -6an. You can get the fittings off of Summit or Vibrant. I would suggest Vibrant. You can also probably go to FASS or Airdog and get fittings that will fit as well.

but is seems his Dad like to only mess with 6 pistons at a time !!!

he is trouble shooting a flutter in a 12 valve
took the original P pump off to fix the push rod cover gasket 14 deg advance pump
I talked him into putting a pump from a another 12 valve on it 12 degree advance pump

have aflutter at ,from 810 to 850 rpm's he did the adjustment on the fuel plate before installing
