Subject: Snapdragons and Periwinkle. Plant Together?

Texas
I am currently working on changing some flowerbeds from Fall/Winter to Spring/Summer plants.

One flowerbed has some snapdragons in it (first picture). They were not expected to survive the winter, but they did. I think that flowerbed needs more plants in it, but I am not sure what would look good mixed with the snapdragons.

Another flowerbed has been planted to periwinkle (second picture). I still have several periwinkle plants left, with several options on where they can be planted.

Do you think that the snapdragons and periwinkle would complement each other nicely if intermixed in the same flowerbed?
