North Central Missouri | Best of luck to you. I had to make that choice 15 years ago this summer. I was a little younger but I had been part of the family farm since I was old enough to do chores and had been handling paying bills for 2 years. I challenged the CEO that his management needed to change. My mom had been dealing with this for 28 years. The ship was sinking and had made many successful attempts to right. But was always tempted to drift back to poor management decisions. The more I challenged bad ideas the more determined he was to do them. I left and started on my own with a few acres and a job in town. I’ve been full time for 10 years this spring. It’s been challenging but it’s something I’m glad I did because the other ship sank on its own. The captain got off and still using poor management in other endeavors.
I’ll second Agtalk is good and I thank those who make it possible. | |
