I've heard you need to look at joules. Some solar have less than 1. Those will give you trouble if grass starts growing up.
We haven't gotten around to buying anything better than our cheap model, we just deal with cows that break through every few weeks. (Don't be like us. Spending the money for a better one will be worth it.)
