Trempealeau County WI | Had a second calf cow have her calf today 3 weeks early. Found the calf tonight. Must have been cleaned off. The cow was kind of goofy about the calf. She would come over to it and sniff it a little bit and then run off. I don’t think it nursed so I brought it home. It’s small but it is alive so I got a 1.5 pints of chl. replacement in it through a bottle. Nursed okay. But as I was feeding it I noticed one set of hooves didn’t appear to be fully developed. Gonna see what it’s like in the morning. Question is there any hope for the little girl or any other thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks | |
