What's the thread about? Restaurants selling groceries, right? A restaurant here was asking $4 for a dozen eggs. About what we could buy 2 dozen for in the grocery stores...i.e, they are about $2/ dozen in the stores...clear enough?


You are thinking like a farmer. Everything doesn’t have to be sold for the lowest price found.
Eggs were $.78 at Aldi last time I looked. Folks with backyard flocks get a lot more. Sometimes from me.
