Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | The older Ag Leader display could work in three areas: Harvest, Site Verification, Application Rate Monitoring.
Due to memory limitations they can not "hold" all three modes at the same time. The firmware comes from the factory able to do Harvest and Site Verification. It can be replaced to do Site Verification and Application Rate Monitoring.
When I owned one I wanted to do Harvest in the Fall but Application Rate Monitoring earlier in the year. That meant that I needed to load the appropriate firmware for the season. Next year switch it back.
If you wish to use it for Harvest in your combine you will need to reinstall the Harvest firmware. If that is the only thing you are going to use the Advantage for this would be a one time deal. |
