Subject: RE: Upgrading planter monitor

I got a used gen 1 20/20 monitor for my 2600 last year, they are getting super cheap. If you do go that route, you have to buy an adapter cable to hook your 37 pin dickey john harness to the 20/20, i tore my hair out trying to figure out why it couldn't see any rows. I finally called precision and they helped me out. It's a big upgrade. This planter is only used for beans, if I was going to use it to plant corn I would think about going to a gen 2 so you have more capability to upgrade as time goes on. Gen 1 was only about $1000 though, so well worth it.
