north central Ohio | Our slats in our 11 year old hog barn are showing enough wear and last turn I had rust on rebar pop some concrete on top of one slat. We have been patching with vynl quickcrete and epoxy sealant in front of wet dry feeders which has worked fine but is not very cost effective or time effective for doing whole barn. Was wondering if anyone has tried hot asphalt that they use for sealing drives and how it held up? I had them do around my grain bins last summer and that is what got me thinking about trying it on a couple pens in the barn. Waiting to get a price which I am sure won’t be cheap but neither is failing slats. | |
