No Satellites / Few Satellites / No Corrections is almost always a hardware issue, bad cable / bad antenna / bad board, start with the cable, you also must realize that an EZ Guide Plus is Old and in the terms of technology its ancient. Work a new GPS into your budget, I would also not recommend an EZ Guide 250 / 500 also older GPS Boards. Trimble's New GFX350 can do everything the EZG+ does plus alot more for $2100
