| Screen, screen, screen again, and once you are sure, then still screen again.
We don't use 10-34-0 anymore for just that reason, it salts out over winter.
If you agitate and screen thoroughly, you should get by fine.
Do it BEFORE it gets to the planter.
A safer alternative would be to spray it out with your pre if you have a large orifice on your sprayer, unless it's cost prohibitive. Yes, you'll lose a great deal of the benefit of it, but you will save headaches of a clogged planter. BTDT. | |
