Clark Co. Wis | On the whole trip , we had a good time....made 4 stops in the Hawaii chain of islands....took tours on a couple and just wandered around with in walking distance from the ship on others. Beautiful scenery in volcano formed areas.
We left Hawaii and ship headed for final stop in Ensanada ?? , Mexico. Sailed for 3 days or so and then were told we were heading back to San Francisco because corona virus was suspected on ship because a positive case of virus had been identified in a passenger on previous cruise.
We were asked to stay in our cabin and food and any other needs were delivered to our cabin. Before that for meals we mostly dined in the various restaurants on board and stayed away from the buffets. CDC came on board when we were close to San Fran and tested some crew and passengers that were showing symptoms of Corona. I believe 19 crew and 2 or 3 passengers tested positive.
Then sailed around in a holding pattern foe 3- 4 days before being allowed to dock at a commercial container unloading dock. Sat on ship 3 more days until , they decided where we could go.......can add more to this later..John | |
