Subject: RE: Quickbooks update

Coldwater, Michigan
Since I did no payroll, tax computing, or other than plain old Quickbooks 2011, I never updated after going out of "service" on those items. Mother board went out on my computer running Windows 7. So as I moved everything to Windows 10 computer I updated to Quickbooks 2020, then snagged Quickbooks most recent Backup from the old drive and good to go. I danged near messed up and hadn't backed it up in 2020 yet. I was fortunate that I only had to rebuild my data base from late December. I was also lucky it was the motherboard that went out, and not the drive.

Lessons learned? Back up often and keep a copy of that Back up separate from the computer.
