Gotcha, yes since you need a Deere display to interface with a receiver, you would need to get it all setup before moving it to the sprayer. I actually had a guy that had a similar sprayer, but actually had a Deere valve and rate controller in so was all Deere controller and loved it.

Typing my last response I knew there was a limitation of the iTC versus 3000/6000 when it came to serial signal that I couldn't put my finger on and the Hz rate would be it, along with certain combinations of message packets but that wouldn't be an issue for you. You are correct though and the iTC can only go up to 5 Hz which will most likely be an issue for you as a Viper4 wants at least 10 Hz. I think some of the older smartrax controllers can run off 5 Hz, but it limits your speed to 10 mph because of the slower message flow. In that case I don't think an iTC will cut if for you so you might be better off investing in a used 3000 with SF1 if you can snag one up.
