Subject: RE: Bale wrappers

SW OH
I'm on my second individual wrapper, a BW200. I don't think it could ever wrap a 6 foot bale, it can barely wrap a 5 foot bale. I've learned that 54" bales will wrap better. The rollers that the bale sits on are to close together and the bale will roll off the side.

The bales need to be uniform in diameter across their width. I have a hard time with my bales being larger in diameter in the middle when baleing wet hay. Those bales will rotate on the wrong axis, or fall off. It will not lift more than about 1600#. I added a lift assist cylinder and have still had a few it couldn't lift. My 4X5 bales weigh 2,000-2,200#.
