About 900 lbs is a good average. 8-900 is for regular balers. 9-1000 is HD balers.
You can change that quite a bit depending on if it is clean straw, we try and bale windrows behind the combine so that is chaff and all. Also, try and bale late night, early morning to bale with dew on. That can raise the weight 100lbs easy.
