It's actually depressing to live around here this time of year. Endless, slimy mud.
Every vehicle is either mud or salt brine covered, or a mixture of both.
Our gravel road is starting to show black dirt in the center, from frost heaving. More mud.
At least I saw a robin, a blackbird, and a red-winged blackbird, so maybe there's hope that the damn frost will go out, the water will drain away, and things will get better. | |
