It has been a while since certain family members were alive and healthy to cook meals. Seems like one popular meal with cornbread was fried salmon patties with white gravy. Canned spinach heated of course and usually had canned okra combined with stewed tomatoes as another side. I guess maybe that’s a southern type meal. Dunno for sure.
And always liked buttered cornbread served with black eyed peas.
