north central indiana
Dannyboy, we have 8 big 3535 Cat pumps for our automatic carwash locations and ten littler Cat pumps for the manual bays. If you really want your "allmost" bullet proof Cat pump to run a long time, dump the expensive Cat oil in it. I have Cat pumps with 5000 hours and absolutley no problems. The Cat oil is designed to lubricate well even if a seal is leaking and u take on water. Even Hypro has their own line of oils for their high pressure pumps. I have to use both types. We change oil every two years in all the pumps. I get mine in 2 1/2 gallon jugs from Kleen-Rite, your friendly carwash supply company.
Have a good one,
