| If the injection pump hasn't been rebuilt, its several years overdue. Though the usual failure is a composition governor ring that comes apart and clogs the return line, then if not fixed, lets the engine race and sometimes the racing engine makes a new crankcase inspection port with a broken rod. The shaft seal has been know to fail putting fuel into the crankcase.
Injectors can be tested, but probably won't pass. And a dribbling or squirting injector can wash oil from that cylinder's wall leading to severe engine damage in a hurry.
