Southeast SD | We got our kids gizmo's for Christmas (I have 8 year old twins). They like them and it's a little bit of "piece of mind" for us as parents too. When they go to birthday parties or friends's house's we know we can get in touch with them if needed, or they can easily call us. As someone already mentioned you program the #'s in the gizmo that they can call, the texting is pre-programmed messages. There's no ability to surf the internet or anything and you can also program in daily "step" goals for them which my kids enjoy. Overall I think the app is a bit crappy as far as updating the GPS coordinates, etc but overall not bad. For the additional money it is on our monthly bill it's worth it to us. We also do alot of rodeoing in the summer time so it's nice to be able to get in touch with them if we are back at the trailer or in the barn etc... | |
