Beware of the office that are advertising low cost procedures. Some of them use very poor quality materials that will prematurely fail (failed implant is bad)...kind of the mechanic's equivalent of made in China parts. There is no way for you (as the patient) to know. Most specialists (periodontists and oral surgeons) are going to use high quality materials.
You want to find a provider that has appropriate training and has experience. You don't want a provider that took a weekend class and now is going to start placing implants. Multiple implants is much more complicated than a single tooth --so the importance of a proper treatment plan is even more important. There is very elaborate digital treatment planning that can be done to help with complex cases. | |
