After the comeback win against Northwestern, Illinois guard Demetri McCamey said: "we just wanted it more than they did." I'm not sure how many games they've lost since then but I don't think he has said "they (the other team) just wanted it more than we did" yet.
I quit watching with 15 minutes left in the game and Illinois down somewhere around 20. I saw they lost by 10, I imagine the score was closer because Painter was resting some of his players for tomorrow. Good luck tomorrow and in the tourney next week. | |
