The cross on our 1293 corn head went out this year. It has about 2500 acres on it and no grease zerk to grease them. They are all enclosed in a plastic shield and the only way I new it was bad was the plastic melted and the guard broke apart. Even though it's not by hoses or anything I can now believe how something like that could happen.
