I'm in need of a replacement for my Canon Pixma printer.
My main criteria: 1. Automatically duplexes 2. Separate cartridges for each ink color 3. Network printer 4. Wireless
Number 1 and 2 are a must. 3 would be beneficial but not totally necessary. 4 would be OK if all other criteria are met first.
I'm looking at HP and Canon. I've had a lot of Canons through the years. I've always been frustrated with their photo quality even on well rated printers but.....I also use after market ink and that may be a part of it.
I'm leaning toward HP at this point and have a couple that I've narrowed it down to: 1. HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless Printer 2. HP Officejet Pro L7590 All-In-One Printer
I don't necessarily need an all in one but the price is right
3. PIXMA iP4600 - this one doesn't network but meets criteria 1 and 2 From what I've read, I think my cost per page would be lower on the HP printers but I can't find real costs on the Pixma. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Lance O.
