North Central Illinois | I believe it is illegal to shoot down a drone. They technically consider it the same thing as an airplane. I think there are also laws about how a drone can be flown over private property and how it can be used. Someone flying a drone over your property may very well be breaking the law but it doesn't give you the right to shoot it down. Everyone thinks they are John Friggin Wayne or Dirty Harry. Stand down with the long guns. | |
