Subject: Guidance first or yield monitoring

Northern California
Well I currently have and ez-guide plus and want to do yield monitoring, mapping, spraying, and so on. I went to get the edge and found out that my ez-guide plus does not talk (5Hz) fast enough to the edge to do any of the operations to my standards and I would need to move up to the ez-guide 250 or 500 to get 50Hz communication rates and make everything work to my standards.
To do this I would have to buy the Ez-guide 250/500 and the edge and the yield monitoring sensors which in one year is a big expense. So I am considering splitting it into two years. So which first the edge or the ez500? and is say the 500 because i could at least do my mapping for spray and fertilization with 500 if guidance that came first. Thanks for your guys input in advance. Seth
