East central Iowa | I download a CVS file from my bank. The description column is much larger than I want.
for example: BUSINESS xxxxx MERCHANT PURCHASE TERMINAL xxxxxxxx CITY NAME HERE DEBIT CARD PURCHASE 11-01-19 12:00 AM XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I'd like to shorten it to;BUSINESS xxxxx MERCHANT
Because there are a lot doing it by editing individually isn't practical. There must be some simple way to do this. I'd then be able to copy the several columns and paste them into a Wordpad document which I can use on a computer that has no speadsheet.
That computer has no Internet access either and limited memory so I can't install a spreadsheet on it but it does have Wordpad. | |
