southern MN | Yup, those type of double ended thumb drives is the easiest way to go. There are several styles/ brands, I’ve had good luck with most.
One end is a regular usb, the other end is an iPad Lightening connector. They use an app to manage the files on the iPad, and just look like a regular thumb drive on a computer.
I see them on the wall at Walmart, Best Buy, Target, etc.

Edit: this brand has a flexible stem and works well with different cases. Some brands are a rigid curl or a very fat collar around the iPad plug in and don’t work well with some cases.
