WCIA
I was in the same boat as you last year. My Deere dealer couldn’t really tell what I needed and had little interest in helping me. I ended up talking to someone at the ag express store in Des Moines and he pretty much walked me through what I need as far as harnessing and to get the epms to run the clutches rather than using a Deere rate controller. Ag express was very helpful.

As far as the coiled up wire labeled clutches, I would guess it has two plugs on the end and would be used for half width disconnects.

To add hydraulic drive you may need a completely different planter harness, you’ll also need a height sensor and tone wheel sensor on one of the main frame wheels

What year is your planter
