Thumb of Michigan | Buy a refurbished 1-2 year old lap top (as other's have explained), lease business class machine. Get a docking station also, you can then have big monitor, full size wireless key board and mouse. Everything is hooked to docking station, so you get a functional desktop AND a portable computer. Present wireless key board 10+ years old.
A 2 year old machine will be close to what a new machine will do, for dimes on dollars. Even if you upgrade every 5 years, you will be money still in your pocket.
Side note: I use computer in my off farm occupation, have to pay personal property tax on desktops, but not laptops. | |
