It's an OK truck, but you'd be a lot better served by a bit heavier spec with a DT, 6 speed eaton and air brakes.
A neighbour has a truck much like you describe. Forever putting brakes on it and other stupid things. It's a glorified ton with all the inherent problems. Good when it's newish... and a bugger when it gets old. No powerhouse either.
It needs to be CHEAP.
