| I've looked into it extensively already. Canada and Australia have agreements to send workers back and forth through each others temporary foreign worker programs. You do not need a job to receive the visa. Australia may ask you to do a medical test and/or background check before you come over. You also need to setup an Australian bank account with a certain amount of money plus the value of a plane ticket home so you do not become "stranded" there. You also need to setup a tax number as you need to pay Australian taxes there, and your employer needs to pay into a retirement plan for you as they would any other employee. | |
