Two-thirds of what you saw is likely less than 5 years away, at least to some extent. The big breakthrough came with e-paper, the stuff used for the viewing screens of the Amazon Kindle and related e-book viewers. The next step is getting a reliable color version and kicking up the speed, with systems for better illumination.
