The shanks are adjustable so you can rip as little or as much as you want. Here in Sumner Co. we pull the 7 shank 17.5 ft. spool deep with our 375 Steigers. One thing we have done is add a good spike harrow attach. to nock down the ridges and your ready to cultivate. Normally my next trip after the rippers and a good rain is to put on NH3 with a field cultivator. |
