| In a 12 or 16 row planter with dry fert I would suggest a Deere 7200 front fold flex planter. These planters are pretty easy to put fertilizer on and usually came with the JD single disk fertilizer opener which work really good. We've been running a 12 row 7200 with liquid fert since '02 and will be selling it soon to buy a 24 row 1770, dollar for dollar I think the Deere planters are probably the best value on the market unless you need a super narrow transport width. | |
