NESD | I would think that video will save the truckers bacon, he may have problems with his log book but that is a seperate issue, But I could be wrong.
I had a similiar incedent a couple months ago, just a couple hundred feet in front of me an oncoming car suddenly came accross my lane and into the ditch, the driver woke up when he entered the ditch and cranked the wheels back, car started hopping sideway and I figured it would either roll or come right into me, I went to the other lane and he apparently saw me right then and turned into the ditch, happened in only a couple seconds. I stopped to see if the other driver was OK thinking maybe he was having a medical problem, he was OK and had fallen asleep. He was very shaken up and I guess I probably wasn't much better. | |
