Western Iowa | My Loup GPS 5000 is very accurate in showing performance of my planter. It uses its own GPS receiver for speed input. Cost less than $1300, or less than 1/4th the price of a 20/20.
I have only replaced part of my sensors with the high rate ones -- which have the three LED's instead of two LED's. On the rows with the older sensors, it shows a slightly lower population. The monitor works fine with the combination. I am replacing the rest of my sensors with the high rate sensors that they sell. Top quality, and they have the best price on them.
A quick glance of the bar chart on the screen shows planter performance. Accurate acre counters and quick, easy setup. | |
