southern MN | Wife read me an article from the internet, a fella was taking a cruise, and before leaving dock in Florida he watched a sports even (football game I think?) over his G3 cell phone.
Next month he got a phone bill for $27,000. They charged him some inteernational fee for so many $$$ per kilobyte of download.
He argued a long time, and got the bill dropped to only $6000.
Had to get some politicians involved before the phone co discovered that his phone had picked up some signal it shouldn't have, and that he was sitll in the USA at the time, no international billing.
