Fires are not something I like to think about. In 2006, we had quite a few fires around here and it seemed like they went pretty far south. I remember Lubbock set the record for the most consecutive days without rainfall somewhere around 100 days. I hope it rains soon. How does the dry weather compare to a couple of years ago down there?
