| The first call should be to the state contractors board to learn if the lien requirements were met. A complaint against the contractor is required, in my opinion. The time limitations to file the lien, the location of the company in regard to the state the lien was filed, etc can be learned with the same call. This call will be free. If it all goes against you, consider small claims court (no lawyers) against the contractor, maybe he has some equipment you can use, or sell. | |
