I did samething with our J&M 1050 about 5-6 years ago, we just ordered all new from J&M from tractor pto to the gear box, to make sure everything thing was balanced and straight. Pto shaft, pillow blocks with bearings and the long shaft back to the gear box, $2200

Now we chain the 3pt up when hooked to the cart.
