I don't agree with your concern that if the rental is for the header, it's a dumb idea. Would you prefer the lease arrangement require 100% of the process, ie combine, header, tractor, cart, trucks, auger, etc.? You must, since you think it's so dumb about the header.
On a dollar basis, the logistics and expense of moving a lower value item like a head just may not pay for ML. And then what are you going to move, a 30' flex, a 35', a rigid, an 8 row CH, 12 row, 30" or ??. You would end up with a larger inventory, with transportation issues getting them moved around. | |
