Subject: RE: Why we should be bullish corn

Missouri river bottom south of Sioux City, IA
It looks like some of the corn belt has experienced what we had here in 2014. It impacted several counties. The corn in the pic was taken June 20th 2014 and was a good stand of about 30,000 plants per acre. No pot holes and ground is sloped to drain. It was on 220 aph ground. It ended up making 105 bpa. Too much water earlier and loss of N.
Most will have to wait until the combine rolls this fall to find out the truth. My guess is there will be a lot of disappoint in those water logged fields.
