I would think it’d be worth it but I don’t know much just going by what pretty crappy ditch crp type grass bales sold for at Beatrice sale barn this spring. There where some that sold 100 dollars a bale or better outsold alfalfa. I think big round straw bales went for some crazy high prices.


Prices last winter were good, well worth doing it. But you know what can happen. Hay prices are high one winter, so lots of hay gets put up the next summer, and nobody needs it the next winter.

I know there's no way to know for sure. Just wondering what other people are seeing and thinking. I figured this was the right forum to ask.
