east central ND | Deere had kits to put many 10 series updates on older combines. Higher fan speed sheaves, dual display tac, digital concave indicator, 13 bar concave, shoe lights, feeder house dust fan? 10 still has bigger engine. They included a decal you could stick on the combine and check off the goodies you installed.
Cannot remember when the nice “dial” type shoe setting adjusters came out, but I think that was 10 series too.
Seems the anniversary- 1997 ? Model year were just darn good machines, but did not come from the factory with 10 series goodies.
