I have a set built in a similar idea. A few things different. I don't have the angle braces. Two bolts in the frame on each side has proved adequate. The cross brace on mine is all the way at the bottom. Still gets in the way some, but not too bad. We cut the handles off and welded a 5/8 nut to the jack shaft. Got some cheap 15/16 sockets and welded to the cut off handles. Makes them removeable. You can use the handle to tighten the frame bolts. Have had stuff in the way of turning the handles, so now we can just use a socket and extension
